Hi there! I’m Yiming Chen, currently pursuing a dual degree at École Polytechnique, specializing in statistics and random phenomena modeling. I am also a MSc in information enginnering in Shanghai Jiao Tong University. My research focuses on computer vision and 3D scene understanding.
I’m currently involved in studying 3D scene generation and 3D panoptic segmentation at Mediabrain Laboratory affiliated with Cooperative Media Innovation Center, SJTU. If you're passionate about computer vision, GenAI, or statistics, I’d love to connect and exchange ideas.

Domain-specific Code Generation with LLMs, Project Lead, École Polytechnique, Sep. 2024 - Present
- Architected the Envision domain-specific code generation system from scratch.
- Achieved 53/75 passing-rate on code generation tasks.
- Engineered hybrid RAG pipeline : FAISS search + Multi-agent interaction.
- Leading ongoing industrial data tuning (75 tasks).
Research on AI Interpretability, Research Assistant, John-Hopcroft Center, SJTU, Jul. – Aug. 2024
- Extracted Shapley values for knowledge distillation and evaluated its generalization ability, assessing knowledge transferability.
- Trained classic models such as BERT, VGG, and ResNet, and conducted analysis on robustness.
